Ive fitted a C20XE to my S plate Corsa Sport, the XE ECU is bigger than the original and doesnt look like it will fit behind the kick plate in the original place.

I know people have them fitted there so is there something in particular i need to do?

Thanks.

Id say u would need to trim the kickplate where the ecu would stick out.So really its gonna be in the normal postition but still on show.

you need to grind the 2 sides of it (the 2 lugs) for it to fit behind the kick plate its common for people to do this

Had mine fitted in the standard place in my GSi, just need to squash it in and then carefully hold it in place while you fix the trim back on, bit of nightmare but its do-able
