bit of a silly question but if one off the switches on the amp to control bass etc was broken off would this make the amp useless? thanks

No not always just gives it no adjustment

in that case then would there be any other reason for no power goin to the amp? ive checked all the fuses and wiring and they all seem fine.

bad earth, remote cable dodgy... otherwise you've maybe popped it lol what amp is it?

it probly has blown because it was working fine before i used to much force on the switch lol its a jbl one not to to sure on the exact model but its the one with bright orange stripes on it if that helps
