About to buy some lowering springs and was wondering would i have any problems lowering the car 40mm with 15" alloys, would they rub the wheel archs? OR on the other hand should i go to 60mm?

This is the car as it stands at the moment,before i could remove the L

No wouldnt have any problems lowering 40mm or 60 for that matter, although 60mm will be much more of a harsh ride, all depends if your after looks or function.

40mm on 15s will be fine, 60mm will be alrite aslong as your wheel offset is correct, going 60mm your better off with uprated shocks to tho as the ride on standard shocks and 60mm is bad

well mine is lowered 60mm on standard shocks wit 14" on and the drivers rear arch rubs when u hit dip's in the road at50mph+ and by dips i mean serious humps lol and its a real hurdy gurdy ride!! coilovers are ok but no point buyin them unless ur usin them to their full potential... lowered springs and shocks is all u'll need..

If you got good ones then yes but a decent shock and spring set up will be fine

The 40 mm springs are due on friday so i should have them fitted by sat/sun, i'll post a pic of it then

the offset of those wheels will cause rubbing if you go 60mm
