abdy says bilsteins are gd coz their damper diameter is larger than avo's and other brands... depends if money is no object..

bilsteins as above, larger inserts on them than others, so are a much better damper, plus you could put a coilover kit on them so you could adjust the height and also use different poundage springs, e.g. 300lb 400lb whatever you fancied. demon tweeks sell the coilover kits and also the springs, similar setup is on my corsa.

should definately have 300lb and upwards springs on an XE in a corsa. Makes a world of difference. I run 300lb fronts

What Bilsteins do you have Stoney? Yellows?
They work best with Eibach springs mate, you might have to sacrifice the low look but the car will be vastly improved.

spax are shite...
LEDA if you can get them...
Even just try 400lb front, 300lb rear springs maybe... it'll be feckin solid though
Have a look at harry hockley stuff - bilstein.
AVO - tried twice, and disliked.

Leda are still in business just owned by someone else up north. Service is OK, expect to part with at least £1000 (last time I was quoted) for supplying coilovers with damper/height adjustment.
have you got a rear ABR yet?

Are your current dampers fucked? Or are they just too low to be much use?
Do AST or the likes do corsa suspension?

I think Stoney has Bilstein B12's like mine, you really need matching springs to work with them and I don't mean shitty GMaxx 50mm lowering springs that don't take into account the models with heavier engines.
