Decided to beak the corsa for parts after my little bump last month. The engine and box is still in the car and can be driven so show its in perfect order and there is nothing wrong with it. Basic engine spec is (if I have put a price next to it then I have the reciept):
C20LET engine rebuilt in 2004 by previous owner on mig:
Rebore (0.5mm oversize) - Park engineering -£50
Check and regrind crank - Park enginerring - £45
Main bearings - Park engineering - £30
Big end Bearings - Park engineering - £22
Complete gasket set - Park engineering - £100
Pistons (8.5:1) and oil pump - Dantum cars - £420
Timing belt kit - Autovaux - £76
Lambda sensor - HGL motors - £60
I have reciepts for all the above for the rebuild, then the spec is:
C20LET managment with EVO 5 chips
MD61 hybrid turbo - turbo dynamics, 2006 - £607
Walbro uprated fuel pump - Chris Astley - £100
VXR injectors - LMF - £75
Ported and polished head with the porous mod done
Helix organic Clutch kit - Chris Astley - £365 (only 9 months old)
SARD fuel pressure regulator
Excellent condition F28 with 70k on it
Will be selling it with driveshafts, hubs, fuel pump, engine mounts, wiring loom (will be plug and play for a pre 1995 car, post 1995 will need a different starter loom) and an exhaust system with a 6x4 magnex back box. Exhaust is one I made myself but hasnt blown at all in 5 years and fits perfect.
Will be taking a deposit on the engine before I remove it and the buyer would have to be prepared to wait up to 3 weeks for me to find a new car before I can take it off the road and remove everything, I will be as quick as possible and hate messing people around but need something to get me to work before I get my new car.
Looking for around £1500 but am open to offers, Just pm me if interested

Would now take £1300, need this gone because I put a deposit on a new car today, insurance on the corsa runs out friday so will be unable to take any test drives after that.

How many miles has it done since rebuild? Is it perfect running order, no smoke taps or anything?
What power did it make?
What shafts and hubs are they?
When could it be seen running till?
Price without gearbox, mounts and exhaust??

Slight taps from cold but after 5 mins sounds perfect. Made 280BHP while on phase 2, not had it on the dyno since EVO 5 was fitted. Big motorsport hubs and driveshafts used, not GSi ones.
At the moment it will be on the road until friday but will be ringing the insurance tomorrow to see if I can extend till next friday.
Engine now avaliable as soon as someone can come up with the full amount so no need to wait 3 weeks any more, it will just be a day or 2 for me to remove it.
I have done 30k on the engine and it had about 10k since the rebuilt when I bought it. Turbo was new when I bought it so only has 30k on it.
Engine, ECU and turbo can be £900 without the clutch

So it needs a set of tappets.. 5mins of tapping isnt good. 
£900 for everything except F28 gearbox, conversion mounts, exhaust, and you say it has no intercooler.
Im not sure what a set of GM tappets inc fitting will cost? Pressuming that will fix it..
Id be very intrested at that..

Its not that bad, and is probably less than 5 mins, tappets will be an easy change while the engine is out and there is plenty of room to get the timing belt back on
