could be running lean, or your water pump is knackered and the impeller is slipping under load on the shaft and not pumping fast enough.

Water pump sounds about right.

Just changed mine and it warms up much faster but holds a consistant running temperature

hmmm not gud becauz cant get bottom pully off sum sheared bolts on it and there on solid tight

engine out and get the drill on it then

sorry mate does sound like water pump..

try spraying the bolts up with WD40 and see if that frees them up.

why dont people use copper slip anymore?

People are basically getting the guy to think it's the water pump with little to no investigation here when it sounds like it could be the fan switch that's knackered.

Does the fan come on when you hit the switch?
