looking to upgrade my front speakers but dunno what ones would be best to get as there is so many out there.
i have no subs or amps so simply just want a bit better sound quality.
i dont wanna be cutting doorcards up n that just want a simple no hassel swap for shitty standard speakers.
what would you recommend?

Nowt is straight forward unless you chuck in co-axials.. but they're in the footwell lol
The standard tweeters paired with something like JBL or similar cheap coax's can give a decent sound...
The standard speakers sound ok to be fair but don't take power too well off upgraded head units is all But will actually give out more bass than aftermarket ones as they're designed to sound a bit bloaty. Just can't take the power.

I used Infinity Reference components. Tweeter fits in the standard place and the crossover can go under the 'armrest bit' on the door card. Then just get an adaptor plate for the speaker to sit in. Never had a problem with mine and neither have any of my mates that use them.
Something like THESE or THESE

I've got pioneer ts-a130ci's in mine, just fitted to replace alpine type s coax's and GM tweeters... had to mount tweeters to mirror covers at top of doors in a little pod thing but they sound brill for 45 quid with my sub to provide the bass and the speakers on a HPF of 80Hz.
