Does this work? as my mate has put a 1.6 into his 1.4 sport and it runs etc but it splutters and faulters when pulling off and when its further up in the rev range?
Also his engine management light comes on every now and again?

when i was running my x16xe on a x14xe ecu it use to run fine but it was pinking now and again

When I changed mine from an X14XE to an X16XE I was running the X14 ecu and it made a huge difference when I went with the proper X16 ecu
