my x14xe runs fine usually on the road, but during a motorway drive the speedo goes haywire (and / or) stops working for some reason.
From then on the car will stall at every junction once off the motorway.
If i leave it turned off for 30 mins or so everything is fine again
any ideas ?
thanx

Could be the sensor to your gearbox, mine fully snapped off and the speedo didnt work at all which caused the stalling. Check all of above first tho as yours is still working a little bit.

not crankshaft
if the ecu detects no speedo reading, at junctions it will cut out due to it doesnt no weather the cars moving and doesnt enable the iac valve adjust ment
first thing id do is change the electronic speedo sensor in the gearbox
