is it possible to put the post 97 bottom grill in a gsi bumper , because mine has the slats missing and i dont like it meshed

it is but it will leave gaps on the side, mark lawton had a grey gsi with that grill, didnt notice it that much but up close its noticible

It can be done, I've done it to my bumper. I was going to make the bumper fit the grill without gaps but decided I wanted a Steinmetz bumper instead.
Here's what it looks like, I had to trim the grill and cut part of the bumper. I then made up brackets for the grill to fit the slam panel.
I have this pic of someones, Sorry I don't know whose it is. They have modded the bumper to fit.
It might be Greggs car.

I thought I seen the word bottom after posting.
Only way to find out is to get a lower grill from a scrappers and try it.
Suck it and see
