There is no set date when you have to settle down? I'm pretty sure it just kind of happens.
No-one is going to be in a happy long-ish term relationship and decide, I'm too settled down here, must end it.
Just go with the flow and see what happens.

People do, a bloke my brother works with does exactly that, he's in his 40s, has been in loads of relationships which have got to the point of moving in or whatever, and just not been able to handle that level of commitment.
I suppose that points more towards not being happy with the other party though, or himself maybe?

Exactly, so it can't be a happy relationship. If you were with the 'right' person you wouldn't do that.

Think i'm almost settled down. Been with him nearly two years, lived together nearly two years. Neither of us want to rush into marriage, nor are we interested in kids, have our 3 horses, 3 cats, and both decent careers.
looking into getting a bigger house late next year, and we both have nice cars. Only thing really missing from our life is holidays together, but That's my fault for buying the horses

Horses are probably more expensive than having kids

Not going to disagree They also take up a lot more time and need more attention/affection. More rewarding though IMO. Up untill today I've had 4 to fill my time, now down to 3, wouldnt change it for the world. Want another couple next year, sod kids, theyre boring.
