a 15 year old redtop will probably not kick out as much shit as yours does now and the engines are well strong. ur 1.6 is quite old id imagine

Mate seems like an endless money pit, i reckon sell the 1.6 off complete strip the TB off and all the other things and sell them off seperate then take it to the mitchie 
You'll have more torque, reliability and if u are really worried about age of the engine get the red top rebuilt bit by bit when u can 
u know it makes sense

Wow look at that!!!! Impressive our what! About 130nm Torque from new engine management. Fuckin awesome. Sounds like a good thing to do.
