Dont know if anyone can help me but here goes..
I Have a vaio vgn-ns10l and its got the motioneye camera..
When im on msnmessenger live beta and i try put on my webcam it comes up with 2 different messages
1. Messenger is not available right now. Please try again later. (0x8ac70202)
2. We couldn't start your camera device. Please check that your camera is not currently in use by another program, and then try again.
now, it has the webcam companion which goes on, but i disconnect it and it still says these messages.. im really annoyed cuz its a brand new laptop

Have you tried the proper version of messenger opposed to the beta?
I installed the beta and then took it off again immediately after signing in as things weren't working properly and had a couple of error messages when trying to sign in for the first time with it...

I believe 7.5 is a stable version and should be ok to use with the motioneye.
