Built mine today, carpetted it fitted speakers sound great, only prob is cant lift it like norm as when it hinges it catches the back seats. Anyone else had this prob or how did you get around this?? Got the brackets on it hold in place but made it big so it fits tight!

ull have to take it off an cut the bit where it hits the seat so it forms an arch, instead of a shap 90degree corner, do u no what i mean?

yeah know what u mean, I think it cause it sits too high up with the hinges not being recessed into the wood, gona play around with it till get it sorted.

recessed my hinges an mine still catches, not finished yet though so im taking off the rear edge, only problem is if u take off 2 much there is a gap 
dont want mine to lift fully though, not like i can get anything in the boot

Think I mite just leave mine as it is. Not bothered too much bout it lifting, and as you said dont want a gap, I made it so its tight fit to the seats, no gap allround! Cheers
