you carnt use spacers like they use on the escorts etc, you have to cut a small square piece of metal. theres a picture floating around of how to do it, ill try and find it

i dont get why people do it for the look of it. if it needs the added cooling, fair enough, if not, why?

guess so. i couldnt justify it for the look of it. it would have to serve a purpose, which to be fair it would do.

On a car like yours it would be acceptable in my opinion but anything less than yours is just a stupid idea.

ive never had much problems with under bonnet temps to think about raising the bonnet yet. if it becomes an issue, i will give it a go for sure.

and the answer was no.. you cant buy kits... you have to make a custom bracket...
it looks like a metal rectangle with 4 holes in it... the bottom 2 bolt through the bonnet hinges and the top 2 bolt onto the bonnet... therefor when it closes..
it doesnt close fully at the top... and therefore giving you the raised bonnet effect..
the dimensions will be different depending on how much you want to raise the bonnet by...
so best of finding them out yourself.....
thank you please

sounds good to me guess i will have to study it and have a bash at it
does it affect the way the bonnet catches at the front?
