Started up my car this morning and realised the speedo was not registering.. I drove about 2 miles and then realised my power steering had just gone aswell... !!!!

both at the same time?!?!? are they related in anyway?

I used to heard the 'steering rack' when i moved the steering wheel left and right (like jolting it) and it didnt sound too good. Now its just broke...

What do you guys recommend? Whats the most common reasons they have gone?
