I been devloping and selling a CRM software for little over a year now and its a nice little sideline, but I am trying to think of ways for reoccuring income from it, does anyone have any ideas?

Offering support, 1yr, 3yr, etc.

Limit what you offer from the start and sell the add-on modules on a licence basis.

The support side is okay but its very simple software can not see anyone buying a support package.

But I like the licence basis, though about doing it for a epos system in that way.

the only other way is to enhance the product and sell the upgrades....

additionally if people want custom development or functionality / which needs support and maintenance.

the main objective is to own the IP on any development that you can resell.
