Any1 know how to de-lock the boot, but i dont want to smooth it out, cos i dont think they look that well!!!!!

take the panel off from inside the boot, the linin one, then u can c 3 nuts that hold the boot lock an handle assenbly on, just undo these an the hole lot comes off, i recon if u colour code it it looks better than smoothin it

yeah, then u wanna get out the fibergalss an bridgin filler, easiest way wood be to sand it down, fiberglass the inside, an use the filler to cover the hole on the outside sand the filler down so it was smooth an followed the lines then fiberglass over the top a few layers, sand down again till smooth, then spray it up, may aswell do rear wiper while ur at it mate!

im doin the door handles tomoz, gunna spary them up tonight an fit them tomoz, such fun in store for me! i sprayed me boot handle the other day an fink it looks smart, seen a corsa with it removed an fink it looks neat. see what ur pics come out like! good luck

why not get a welder and do it the proper way? id be very dubious about f/glasssing something like that. welding will give u a permanent finish u can rely on. f/glassing a hole like that, u never know, how longs it gonna last?

if u glass it the way i sugested it aint gunna come off, i used to do fiberglass work that way to cover holes on boats below the water line, theres alot of force when the water is pushin against it unlike on a boot of a car!
