Went to see this with the missus on sunday, was ok a typical JC film but i dont mind jim carery makes me laugh worth watching it if your bored or not sure where to go.

it very vaguely follows the book (ie: the principal is similar), it's worth watching though and there's an appearance by Danny Wallace, but i agree with a lot of reviews that Carey's act is getting a little old now.

Prefer Jim Carrey's more seriosu filsm these days, The Numebr 23, The Truman Story & especially Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind *makes mental note to watch that film tonight*

I'm quite impartial about Jim Carey, and have never read the book, but this looked quite good so went to see it on Friday.
I've never laughed so hard in the cinema. Infact i'm not sure i've ever laughed out loud in the cinema, but this gave me some good belly laughs and i'm tempted to buy the doovde when it comes out too.
