i need to get a new mirror for my 2000, w reg corsa cdx, as someone stole my passenger one. another member has offered me 2 electric ones, but i just want to clarify something.
are the base fittings the same no matter the size/shape of the mirror?
when i got some replacement glass from halfords last year, there were two different sizes; one was bigger and a square shape, whereas mine was oval and smaller.
i just want to be absolutely sure that they will fit my car no matter what, as i will be travelling a long way to get them!
thanx

All standard mirrors for the Corsa B (1993-2000) have the same base plate, so they'll be fine.
If its really that far you're travelling, why not get them posted?

Two hours? That's about £20 isn't it? Assuming its mostly motorway driving anyway!

if in doubt get the tape measure out
but as said above theres only the one mirror....theres a possibilty that someone at "halfrauds" was quoting the "combo" which is a corsa derived van- they have larger square mirror

2000 might have listed the corsa C shape too, which is why it was so different
