I'd stick with Avast, on the basis that this is an older version of AVG (although still updated and supported)

The newer version of AVG simply fucked my PC up, so I rolled back to this one which works perfectly and is exactly the same in terms of how up to date it is, the new one has different features.

Anyone tried installing this on Windows XP or Vista?
I've put it on one of my Server 2008 machines. Nice little program! Saves putting on Endpoint Protection which is shite!

I used to run AVG 7.5 on Vista, but since I got a new PC I use Avast. There was no way I was installing the piece of junk 8.0 on here.

Like I say: The reason i'm not running the new version is because AVG7.5 was fine, I upgraded to 8 and it fooked my PC right up, so I rolled back and have had zero problems at all since. AVG 7.5 is fully supported.

Last I checked, you don't get automatic updates for 7.5 any more, you have to do it manually.
