i just got a cool running fan switch because my original one stoped working, it says that it comes on at 92 degress but it didnt come on untill 105 what could be wrong?

i had my head gasket done instead of geting the head skimmed i had a old nova head so i put that on the only diff is that the nova head hasnt got any brather hoses is this why this is happening?

my car is a 1.2 8v cheers lads
