i have just got a 92 degree fan switch and it dosnt come on lol i have tryed the wires both ways and still not working i have tested my fan and that works what else could it be? a themostat? i have just had it change thought let me know cheers lads

Have you let it get right up to 100 degrees and it still doesnt come on? The wires can go either way round so that doesnt matter.

Unless youve got a cool running thermostat too you might not get the fan coming on at 92 degrees because the fan swith measures its temp at a different place to the dash gauge. unless the thermostat is fully open the bottom of your radiator will take longer to reach 92 than your dash gauge

ok mate so is there any way of geting my dash to read the same as the fan switch? and i think its just a normal thermostat only payed £6 for it so i dont think it will be a cool running 1,so is there anything i can do? cheers mate

You can try swapping the sender for the gauge on the dash, that might not be reading quite right. Where does the temperature gauge sit while your driving?

it sits on a 100 mate thn gos dwn to about 98/99
