Got the chance to have it installed free etc paying £16.50 for the variety pack.
At the moment we hjust have freesat from sky so don't get Sky1 but do get Sk3 etc.
Is Sky+ worth it?

Its just Sky with recording abaility.
If you often find yourself missing things you wanted to watch then its worth it.

I use mine all the time as I'm usually out when something I want to watch is on
Series link is useful as well as you can set the whole series to record

i think it's worth it. like Joe said, i'm often busy when stuff that i want to watch is on so use it quite a lot. i find the hard drive fills up pretty quickly though so have to keep an eye on it.

I think it's brilliant.
Best feature imo is either recording/pausing a program that starts at say 10, go and do whatever, come back at quarter past and then fast forward through all the adverts and still be finished for 11

My dad seems to like it, says its worth it, he was going to go for SkyHD but decided against it, I think he had pushed my mum far enough, what with the new subscription service and his new 42" telly

It's good if you haven't tried Virgin V+.
I got Sky+ installed as it was cheaper and although there are more channels I badly missed the 3rd Tuner, so they took it back.
