i have been in pain for a while with two wisdom teeth. but i have been taking pain killers to take away the pain but last night they just didnt do the job and i have been in agony all last night and i havnt been to sleep yet. ive got the dentist at 1pm first time i have been in a long time as the scare me stiff i just have to get to the door and i start shaking like a shitting dog . will the dentist put me under or just use a needle to freeze my gums and my mam says wisdom teeth are the worst to remove. anyone else had there wisdom teeth removed?

Pain is normal, as they have to break through your gums, quite slowly. I remember having intermitant pain for months as they came through.

I cant see him whipping them out unless there coming oout squint.

Just man up & take the pain

ok. what if the teeth are that damaged to do anything with wich mine are?. will he just build the tooth back up?

Last time I had tooth ache it was about 11pm and no where was open to get pain killers - turned to a bottle of Vodka and it worked much much better!

One of mine was impacting against the tooth in front of it and it cracked. I've had it filled twice now. If it happens again its got to be removed

Wisdom teeth or a pain in the arse.
I'm 26 and the two bottom ones haven't come thru in the slightest yet and I know they're there coz I've seen them on x ray.
Top ones when coming thru caused me alot of pain.

Ive got 3 fully through, one hasnt appeared at all

Pretty painfull when there breaking through!!

well ive had it removed wasnt painfull tbh. not half as bad as i thought it would be and they gave me my tooth lol

yeh it feels right strange trying to have a drink with a bottle of water in boots and i had to ask the mrs if the bottle was actualy in my mouth lol

i had my bottom right wisdom tooth come through last week. the painwas unbearable and i went to the dentist and got some antibiotic called metronizadoe or something.

it basically killed the bit of gum that was flapping about where the tooth had started coming through. fine now

be warned though, you must not drink alcohol at all when taking them and hey make you feel like shit.

im on that exact same antibiotic ben for the same reason although i had six teeth pulled 2 weeks ago all becasue my dentist could not be arsed to fix em well 4 couldnt be fixed eating is really fun at the moment
