How much you wreckon it'll be for insurance on a 1996 1.2 Arizona corsa
I'm 18 and will be going on my mums insurance

Well mine works out at 740 a year on my mum's insurance and i am 18. That is fully comp with legal cover.
Been driving for 1 year. Although my car is a 1.0 Litre Corsa.

have you tried going on churchill on your own policy mate? if you can afford the payments monthly

My mums got no no claims I don't think as she's always been on dads insurance for like 20 years haha and I'll try churchill now thanks

Just got a quote with directline since my dads with them and for my own insurance it's:
Your payment breakdown Deposit (Credit/Debit card) £321.30 1st instalment (Direct Debit) £143.94 Remaining 9 instalments £143.91 APR 20.4 % Total amount payable £1,760.43

Woeth a go, i'd say about £900 though.

Im 18, with a years no claims with a 1 litre on my own insurance and mine is 880 with windscreen cover and courtesy car added.

Did you try churchill? Also when trying for insurance, try putting your mum/dad's name on the policy as a named driver as that should knock some money down aswell

Have a look on confused.com or alternatively try some of the bigger brokers like adrian flux or chris knott.
They can do policies for young drivers.

Everyones asking around 2-3k because my dads with directline for fully comp on my own insurance is 1600 which is cheapest so far!

1600 sounds about ok, i paid 1700 on my first car and the car only cost me £50

yeh. but i would still recommend looking at other insurance companys and seeing if they can better the direct line quite

Hi mate, i have experienced the same problem as you mate, cant find any cheap car insurance.
What i realised was that insurance comparision websites were no good (for me). If you are going to pay monthly then directline is your best bet because they don't charge alot of interest etc.
Cheapest I ever found was Tesco car insurance. Try and get a quote from them. Hope that helps.
