hi there, when i start my car (x16xe) theres a weird buzzing sound, sounds abit like the fuel pump but not sure, also when i switched it off it spluttered instead off going straight off like it should if you know what i mean. any ideas? thanks

it just sounds like a buzzing noise but when i switched it off it spluttered like a burbble then yes

Waterpump mate then you'll need new timing belt just happened to mine, my dads fixing mine as he's a mechanic waterpumps about 18pound off eBay and timing belts about 16 pound but a mechanic will charge like 150 - 200 i've been told mine's only costing £0 lol if your confident, fit it yourself!

its not the water pump mate its coming from the back ish of the car roughly where the pump is

oil is fine but theres a slight leak where ive cracked the sump lol, it sounds like the fuel pump is trying to shut off but its stinking of petrol,

any1 else know what it could be? been told it could be a dodgy fuel pump. but need the advice guys cheers
