I believe the SRi's were only dropped 5mm

Nope, all SRi/Sport/GSi's were lowered 20-25mm.

Will the rear springs slot straight on a C as its the same rear beam and seats?

ive got a spanking set of corsa 1.2 front shocks and springs,

they are the exact ones as the set that were from my sport, wernt lowered or shorter at all?

so if you had a sri that was lowered 20- 25mm from factory and then fitted corsa 40mm springs wud it only drop the car technically 20mm more than the factory springs

ive never heard of this, alot had the lotus tuned suspension, never mentioned lowered tho

Yes they will but it will be lower. Mate has 60mm corsa b springs on his c and its very low

Its true, they did design or tune the suspension on the Sports.
