Yeah, try the new one and see what happens As long as the engine's run for at least 2 hours (idle ish revs
~1k) then it should fully charge it.
Really don't want to have to buy a new battery for mine yet, it's been dying for about 3 months Still manages to plod on - just!

Thought that, but car seems fine once its on = running on alternator power.
Was only out for around 45 minutes but at 2k+
Hit the limiter once too

Thats the one I had in at first, when you turned it off everything went off interior light etc. Didn't hold anything.
Then tried the one that was in the XE originally today and it goes to start it but doesn't, it locked itself with the alarm etc and lights still work but there's not enough charge to start it. Maybe it just needs more death?

Nah that should be well charged by now.
Run it for a bit and then stick a meter across it when the engine's running, then get someone to turn it off, and see what the numbers do.

i had a dead battery on sunday, took it for a smooth 30 mile ride round the lanes and its been fine since.

Only reasd part this page so jumping in deep water here: Get someone with a running car connect battery up with jump leads, start their car up and leave it for 10 mins then try your car.

Just paid for the 8th BBS wheels. got 12.50 off using ebay voucher and had 25 quid in my paypal from online surveys.
So only paid Ł102.50
altogether got a full set of very good condition bbs RC's and tyres for 352.50
