me and my dad really want a new project car (it will be my first) and we are thinking about maby a corsa b or nova and we were looking into making it into a track car and i was generally wondering if there are any local places i could take it to race beening that i am still 16 and any websites links or just general advice would be great. I know a few people have done this as i have seen the project threads and were do you race i am from the north east.

Fire over to this site's sister website! That's where all the track chat goes on.

all public track days you need to produce your driving license. You'd be better (IMO) going for mini-stocks - more fun, more wreckage

I bet if you have an MSA license you will be able to go on trackdays. Theres also saxmax (saxo championship), stock hatch http://www.750mc.co.uk/F-stock-hatch.php and hot hatch http://www.750mc.co.uk/F-hot-hatch.php championship races you could think about
