Can these foldable ones fit into the boot of a Corsa?

My redtop lump is too heavy to get out of the boot of my car by myself. Now I can borrow someone to get it out (I live with 3 girls). But it's going to be a mega-pain every time I need to move it isn't it...

If I do the swap myself I'll need a hoist anyway, so I'm tempted to just buy a 1ton one.

I know the place actually. Was hoping to spend a little bit less, some on eBay are B.I.N at £110. I'll see if the place that's doing my wheel bearing will take all day.

Gaz, I picked one up from a fella on eBay. Was £80 and I collected it, couldn't fault it either, shame I sold it.

Yeah I've been on eBay looking for local ones. None are very cheap, or very local. And they don't all fold that small. £80 would be fine though.

Mine was from a guy in Essex, brand new, just took it out some warehouse in the middle of nowhere and put it in a Ford Fusion (with no trouble). Seemed proper dodgy but I had my crane and he had his money so we were happy

£110 isn't bad though, I'd definetly buy, then you're not under such a strict time schedule from the hire place.

I'm considering atm. Part of me wants to spunk £200 on a hoist and an engine stand tomorrow. Another part of me thinks that I don't actually need either thing. I'll see how much I'm gonna get charged for my wheel bearing and go from there.

Front left, and it turns out the wheel bearing's fine. So the noise is still from an unknown source at the minute. But the guy's gonna sort the tracking and o/s brake pads need doing.

Took it to A Bell Autos in Glenfield.

It's only when you steer left and more than a little bit of lock, and it's sort of a rumbling noise, sort of like a badly blowing exhaust, but coming from the area of the front left wheel.

Whereabouts in Leics are you? I'm in the west end just off Narborough road. u2u if necessary.

Nowt wrong with Essex! The hoist worked a beauty. Lifted the lump out of my boot, wheeled it into my garden. Job's a goodun! Only sucky bit was I couldn't put it onto my engine stand with the clutch still on the engine. So that'll be a job when I'm next off work.
