when a corsa has had an XE conversion does the have have to be wired to a switch on the dash? or can you have it its like a normal car and kicks in off a fan switch.
my corsa has been wired to a switch on the dash, one wire goes off to a relay and the other is connected to an earth on the body.

by normal you mean so its kicking on from the fan switch?
my car has had what i see as dodgy wiring on it so am trying to tidy everything up as neatly as possible and rebuild rough bits of the loom where some butcherous bastard has twisted wires together and taped round them .

also could yo give me an indication as to what colour wire goes where to the fan switch? or is it all colour to colour, cheers, Gaz
