Hey Guys
Got hold of some free 6x9's yesterday. only problem is they dont have the wires that go on the back of the 6x9s. ive got the 2 channel amp and a wiring kit, and know how to wire up the positive and negative. Just need to know what type of wire to use to connect the 6x9's to the amp
any help would be appreciated

halfords speaker wire will do fine, with the relavent spade / hoop terminals at either end to allow connection.
spade terminals (small + large) to speaker
hoop connector at other end to amp, make sure that the correct + wire from the speaker matches that of the amp (both should be marked)

just wondering - i have a full wiring kit at home, with the white and red plug wire (that you plug into amp and stereo) could i cut this wire and use that? or is it not the right sort?

full wiring kit contains the speaker wire does it not? pesonally id just go to halfords and spend £4, but the ones i think you suggest are rca ones, but will still work

ok fair enough mate - i dont know if the full kit has speaker wire? i shall check though

all you need is 4 wires ( 2 for each speaker)
2 large and 2 small spade terminals (1 of each for each speaker)
4 suitable connections (fork i suggest - see below) to connect each of the 4 wires to the relavent points on the amplifier
