ive got a problem for last couple of days ive had the handbrake light coming on and off then when painting callipers noticed what looked to be brake fluid on the inside passenger back wheel anyway when i come home today when to go out and the brakes feel really bad really have to press ur foot hard down to actually get it to start slowing down anyway topped it up with brake fluid and its still the same anyone have any ideas?

seal has gone on your calipers mate and its leaking out and at the same time itll be drawing in air so even tho youve topped it up itll still leak out and continue to draw air in need new seals and bleeding

take the drum off and wheck the brake cylinder isnt leaking, bend the rubbers on either side of it back a little, check that the pipes arent coroded and are tight

sounds very much like seals on the cylinders on the calipers gone

its the rear passenger side

just replace there rear cylinder about a 30 min job

doesnt even need a cylinder normally you can just push it back in my mates came loose last week just popped it back in

theres no point fucking about with it if the seals have gone and its leaking, they arent expensive and they are easy to fit so might as well do the job properly

even if there is any sign of fluid behoned the dust covers on the wheel cylinders they should be replaced
