Ive come to the conclusion that this is the problem with gf's car.

But my question is - being a total noob - how do you access it?

Im of the understanding it is at the front of the g/box near the fork selector ( )

But how do i get to that

Oh and if it is the plug that is fucked, would any corsa plug fit?

Hers is a 1.2 8v spin.

iirc its a 19mm socket. You should be able to get a spanner on it.
