they have the same reaction times as us and the cars have the same braking distances as other T5s , ok they are more aware and are trained to spot hazzards further in advance than most of us would but there are still some twats you cant spot no matter how hard you look for them

Yeah I caught up with an unmarked car the other day going along an A road that said "police driver training" on the boot and it was only doing the speed limit. Just wanted a hole to appear in the ground and swallow me and my car up. They didn't do anything though apart from have a good look.

I know someone who is paralysed and brain damaged because a Police car sped through a red light 'assuming' they'd be seen. T-boned the car and sent it flying down the road.
The Police Officer is still in the same job, that is wrong IMO.

police stickers, lights etc. far more frightening than a t5.
and yeah loads of undercover cars aswell. ive seen maybe 10 different ones stopping people on the m6 in the last week. police must be having a major crack down round here.

I very rarely see police cars on my route to work and back. Dont see those speed camera vans about as much anymore.
Like you say think they must be concentrating on the motorways

I was behind a marked Vectra a while back at a set of lights, lights changed, he nailed it, must have hit at least 50 before he went round a bend out of sight, then as I was exiting that bend doing 30 I just saw the back end going round the next bend 150-200yds up the road. No blues and twos yet he at least hit 50, probably hit 60 between the 2 bends

happend to me few years back, pulled out a road one night after working late and there was a set of car lights a good 4-500 yards up the road so i pulled out then it shot up my rear blue lights came on and pulled me.must have been doing a good 50/60
Asked me why i was pulled, i replied i pulled out in front of you's,however the distance yous were at,and at 30mph i had plenty of time to manoever onto the road i was unaware that yous were travelling at a higher speed as i never seen any blue lights.
Got told to take more care and have a good night lol
must have new they were in the wrong
