Hi guys, I have a lexus key with a seperate fob (for alarm, opening doors etc) and I have been given a VW fob like this 1

Anyway I can cut my key and put it on this fob?!

Also want to program the key to open my car doors?!
How do you remove the actual key part as well?!

Bit of googling doesn't sound like it's possible - apparently you can only program the remote functions of the VW key using VAGCOM (Which surely can't be any help for a lexus key!) but then to start the key (over ride the immobiliser) you need to get a VW dealer to program it.
Is there not enough room to pretty much stick the entire existing lexus key internals in the VW shell or anything?

Half open the key and you should see a roll pin that simply pushes out and the key blade comes off.
New key blades are only about £2.50 on ebay then just get it cut. Swap over your immobchip.
If you have a seperate fob for the alarm and CL then that's all you need. The buttons will be useless though. Bit of clumsy key for just a flip blade and immob function though.
