Hey, i really want to buy a mesh grill for my corsa sport 1.4 16v 1996 but the problem is.. that the stock grill is part of the front bumper. Do you think there is a way of cutting this out so that i could fit the mesh grill ? ?

He's got a pre97 so its part of the bumper..

Only way to remove it is to cut it out but it looks gash as the bit the badge is mounted on leaves a big hole.

I cut mine out using a soldering iron. Then fitted a badgeless grill which covered up all of the holes

yea i was able to get a really clean cut with the iron. then the grill fits in and hides the gaps. There are slight gaps at the bottom corners but nothing noticable.

a hacksaw blade is what i used, a slatted grill will cover up any holes left

yes it would fit, mine already had the holes in the slam ppanel to screw it in, if not just drill them, i also had zip ties going around the top mounts on the bumper to hold the sides of the grill in
