how do i wire up the switch live? any one got a pic? at the mo im guessing its the thin black wire with a cylinder type plug on the end of it near the battery tray?
ive been told i need to extend a wire from the drivers foot well to that plug?

sweet what wire do i need to extend? from the corsa small black plug hanging from the dash?
im guessing its the ignition switch live?

i dont get why you extend the igntion witched live all the way to that black plug? where does the black blug go to? what is it powering up?

it powers up the ecu on ignition and its easier to extend it fromt here rather than find the right wire at the ecu as i also think it powers up the injectors to open up

ooo i see, have you got a pic of witch wire to join it to in the foot well?
is it the corsa plug?

just find any switched live in the engine bay and cut into that, there will be one in the light loom somewhere

as said here- in my opinion thers nothing wrong with tapping into the reverse light plug on the gearbox (the black wire)-the ignition live you want doesnt really pull much current,its more of a switch wire as you connect the red one direct to the battery- or you can run a wire from the drivers footwell,theres a black one one the plug you described which will be redundant when you connect the rest up if you wish to use it be sure to feed it through the grommet and re-tape it nicely

witch plug in the foot well is it tho? thats what i need to know, is it on the corsa plug or the turbo plugs?

there is a black wire in the car loom side its in the square plug that previously plugged into the original engine loom
