1.2 sxi corsa b
he`s just bought a 1.4 sport engine, will be rebuilding it, comes with ecu wirin loom engine box and may include shafts
what all would be needed to fit it in the sxi
driveshafts the same?
would need different clock cause its mechanical rather than electrical
engine mounts mate up ok?
exhausts diferent ?

How old is the sport engine? As in what year?
Exhaust has it's differences, not sure how far back it is different - but the cat and downpipe back to the mid section is certainly different

its an n reg car the engine came out of, so i take it that it aint got power steering etc

- use mounts off the 1.2 iirc.
- you're right about the clocks
- will need a new cat (or to weld old one i guess) assuming you have the
- manifold with the engine. old centre section and backbox off will be fine
- will need new brakes really / maybe struts unless the engine comes with those
- mpi fuel pump
and it might have PAS as an N reg but not sure. later 1600's did anway
just thought, i'm on about the original being an 8v. Not sure if that's the case for your pals
