as title wanting to look at a bit of land approx 50 years ago

anywhere i can do this?

google earth, flash earth etc?

They didn't have satellites up there 50 years ago.

You'll have to try old news papers or a time machine.

Assuming it is somewhere local that you want to look at, go to your local library / council office and enquire about aerial photos from the date you're interested in.

There is a fair bit of older aerial photography on the net if you do some searches for the site/area
