My manifold is looking sorry for itself and is dragging down the overall look of the bay. I tried polishing it and even used an ultra high paint but it's done no good. It's just burnt and melted it and now its left a naff residue. Any ideas on how I can make it look a bit newer?

I used Halfords high temp exhaust paint on my last XE, Never burnt off or anything like that.

You could get the exhaust ceramic coated, Not cheap but helps performance too.
