Ive got a really vague memory of it, but its bugging me...

it was set in australia... alice springs?! im sure it involved a plane or something, putting out fires?! im not sure, but its doing my sweed in!!

the only cartoon i remember that had a plane as the main theme is Tailspin. pretty sure it wasn't in australia though.

Only thing i can think of is Jimbo and the jet set, but he was based at heathrow.
