Have a Dyson and a Henry, the Henry is a lot lot better. You can throw anything at it. Only down point is that it uses bags.

As dom, there's a dyson and a george in here, george is a million times better.

Dyson doesn't work as well to start with and it breaks all the time, we've replaced loads of bits.

Dyson's are expensive and Henry is not upright. Plus, you're not meant to throw things at a hover

As for a bag, i quite like the fact you pick up a bag and throw it in the bin instead of having to shake dust out of the cylinder. Plus i hate seeing a dirty cylinder. Only downside is having to find somewhere to purchase bags from.

I had a Hoover upright and it's not very good. Got a Vax little not upright thing which pulls the carpet up.

You wouldnt think that was your car in the avatar tbf Col

I bought my Dyson DC04 upright (grey and purple) from a guy who recons them for £40 last year. Nothing wrong with that, works on carpets, tiled floors (works best with the wand here) and even gets pet hair up without getting all tangled. Got my vote

Agree with Dysons, had a few and they never seem to work well after a few weeks. Bought a Miele thing you drag along and it's brilliant.

I have 2 Dyson's. They're awesome imo.
I use one for general house cleaning, and the other is a handheld one for small clean ups.
