My mate was wanting to see if he could pick up a set of speakers for his flat today, he always does things on a budget so took me to cash generator. Id never been before and thought it would be shite. But it was awesome, loads of cool stuff!
But picked myself a awesome bargain. 2 Technics 1210 mk2s, for £220!!
Dont have any vinyl yet so cant try using them, but going to Edinburgh tomorow to see what i can get.

That's a good deal! I sold my 1210 Mk2s on eBay for £400 a couple of months back (although they were flight-cased)...

I started off on CD's as I had loadsa singles already. Vinyl is alot easier as you have a lot more manaul control.
Got around 100 vinyls that I'll probably never use again if you fancy makin a cheeky offer

I'd love to start up again but I'd have to replenish my record collection as my taste has drastically changed!

cdjs are the way forward, i will never ever stray away from my cdjs. I only have the 400s, and even they are amazing.

theyre good but its really hard getting scratching to sound like vinyl, vinly just has that 'original scratch' sound to it.
