Sorry for all the questions.
The last couple of days I've actually managed to get some things sorted with the motor. BUT I cannot for the life of me find anything for an alarm.

whats the picture for? thats not your alarm.
ther alarm siren is at the top left where the brake fluid cap is.
what do you need to know?

yea but the black Button (far right) goes down when the bonnet is closed, so i assumed that it was for the alarm

If it is, then why doesn't the alarm work, ive looked at the fuse and thats fine? i think

Your deadlock ring may be broken, which arms the alarm when the door is locked

Thats inside the doorhandle?
also, when the doors are locked, the key slot is horizontal on drivers side, but vertical on passenger side

where is deadlock ring located and how much are they, if they are peanuts to fit and buy i will sort it now lol

There cheap and easy to do. Did mine a few months ago. See if you can still pull the door pins up when the lock on the drivers door is horizontal or if the red light on the hazard switch starts flashing when deadlocking.
