god you would fall asleep, I would imagine the underground etc to be quite boring and monotonous, but mainline is a different story tbh, having to know the varied speed limits, all the signals, where the stations are etc. On the works simulator they stuck the fog on and it really was quite tricky to slow down at the right time for a station... its not quite as easy as driving a car, but probably not as hard as being a pilot
