Mine doesnt and i have seen many 1.0 Litres what dont have rev counters.

my 1.0 is nippy and got all the luxurys
power steering, Electric Windows/Mirrors, Sunroof its perfect for me (for now) nice lil thing that i can fling about and go sideways in. Get a 1.0 GLS they are pretty good for a lass/young person to potter round in. I love mine! dont care what people say, and i can beat my mates 1.3 Suzuki Swift Attitude and do over 90mph lol

u sure my fooker wont beat the 3cyl swift lol ive had milkfloats beat me off the lights even them grannys in battery buggies lmao

not quite as bad but they are damm slow ! ! !

mine is surprisingly nippy lol, had 113mph out of it too on a straight road lol. didnt feel good like. only if you drive it quickly, not chavvy/stpidly quickly just quick to get it moving lol

i would agree with mobby tbh.

1.0l iirc are more costly to service?! And aparently not that reliable by comparison. Thats why in whatcar they are the "one to avoid" when they did a used car test thing.

i wouldnt say so, mine never sees the garage, both engines can be shit but both can be good, its a personal experience..but why would you go through the trouble of selling a nice corsa which in good condition to but a 1.2 cause it has powersteering when the whole point of the thread was to find out if it was fitting powersteering...think we should keep the thread about powersteering.

thats what whatcar said in a review, based on more than one example. The cost of parts was mentioned too, lots of models use the 1.2 engine, whereas the 1.0l is less common which usually means parts tend to cost more due to lower volumes of production. As

The cost and hassle of adding powersteering would mean a replacement car would be easier/better vfm as Corsas are cheap as chips these days, thus being very relavent to the thread?!


But essentialy unless shes tiny, she will get used to the lack of PAS tbh.
