if I am uploading more then half a meg (emailing a pic or sending a file) my router crashes and stopes IE from working. MSN etc still work fine until I reboot it and IE starts again

any ideas what I can change to stop it doing it? utorrent and MSN file sending work OK for 10s of MBs without ever crashing

Thanks

Sounds like a DNS error to me.

Try using OpenDNS's servers for a while.

I don't think it's a DNS error, it'll have done any DNS it has to do before beginning the file transfer.

Sendng files via email will be using http while utorrent and MSN aren't.

I'm not sure what's causing it though.

Sounds unlikely I know but something seems to be knocking the DNS out of sync.

Just give ti a go, if it doesn't make any difference it's another trhing to cross off the list
