got my m.o.t in a couple of weeks was wondering what do corsas ushaly fail on?
just so i can fork out more money on the cheap runaround lol

thought i replied to this! hmmmm

anyway...rusty brake lines(usually just flaking paint and muck off roads) mot'ers like to fail on.

then typical wheel bearings, cv boots, lower balljoints. steering rack gaitors. headlight aim, tyres, chip or crack in drivers 'view'area think its worked out 12inchs square!

check the chassis legs coz ive seen so many corsa's cum in 4 mot and have failed on that

Mine failed on a CV joint and a handbrake cable. Don't think cars usually fail on one particular thing though.

Most fail on headlights being insecure.

Mine goes in tomorrow morning just gave it a wash so it will now pass ok.

thanks for the info think i just need to do the brakes and a new set of coilovers and exhaust then it should be ok so much for buying a 1.0l corsa for a cheap run about lol

Passed MOT no problem, advisory about headlight clips broken but passed ok even the v6 brake set up was ok , well pleased
